Hi everybody! I know what ya'll are thinking. I haven't blogged since..... well, a long time ago. Haha Hope everything is going good though :) Life is good for me too, actually. I've been through 1 successful week of my senior year in high school, and just got back from a big family reunion this past weekend! It's great. I love my friends, and can't wait to hang out soon. TESSA, THAT MEANS YOU! I haven't seen you in 2 weeks! This is ridiculous, considering the fact that we only live 10 minutes away.... I guess school makes us both busy again... :( And who else do I miss? Courtney. Call me girly! :D

ahhhhhhhh So pretty much I'm in Yearbook right now, and I turned in my assignment early, so I'm just sitting here while the other freshman finish theirs. Yes, I am in a class filled with 9th graders. Don't get me wrong, there is nothing bad about being a freshman... well, except their maturity level, the amount of noise, etc... Yeah. Anywhoot, I am listening to the song "You Got Me" by Colbie Caillat :) It's super dooper cute! Guess what? Today is my first day of Dive Team :D I'm actually kind of dreading it..... I'm lazy. Yes. But more than that, I'm the new girl on the team. Grrrrreat.

Blah. But on the positive side, today is an "Early Out" which means we get out 1 hour early :)

Hello everyone!!!

Goodness, I love summer. So much. I never want it to end.

Right now, aunts, uncles and I are watching the Fifa Soccer World Cup at my aunt's house in Utah, and it is simply beautiful outside. I'm loving the fact that I'm done with this school year and that I will be a senior next year! Whoop whoop. Hmm what else is new? EFY ended yesterday, and I loved it. Of course it wasn't as fun as it would have been if Courtney was with me again, but it was still fun. I'm missing everybody in Tempe (Tessa, that means you.), but also loving this time with new friends and family. I hope everyone is having a good summer as well. LOVE YOU! xo

2. Days. Left.

OMGOSH!!! XD Then it is summer. Everything will be so much better. We have Girl's Camp right away, then EFY, Colorado, Utah, Idaho, and Wyoming. It's going to be great :)

I cannot wait. I only have to survive these next 2 days, and then I am hitting the open pavement with my best shot! I won't be holding anything back. This is going to be the most amazing summer. So ya'll better watch out ;) hehe And this is my first summer with a license! So it will be 10x better than any other summer. For shizzle. AND I TURN 17 IN AUGUST! :D AND I WILL BE A SENIOR!! XD

My goal for today is to look at everything with a positive attitude. "Instead of a glass half empty, it's half full" type of philosophy. After having a bad day and crying myself to sleep yesterday, I realized that life is too short and precious to waste time being mad at people. Instead of starting a fight or letting a problem ruin your day, just forget about it. Remember that God loves you, he knows what you are going through, and that no body else really matters. It sure does help you remember why we are here.

Something I learned in seminary a while back, is this acronym: S.M.I.L.E. = Spiritually Minded Is Life Eternal. My problems and worries are so insignificant in an eternal perspective, and after looking back, I have no idea why I let something effect me so much! It's quite ridiculous if you think about it. I felt selfish, and self-centered. There are bigger things going on in the world than just me. It's stupid, really, that I was so preoccupied in myself for so long.

Yes, this life is short. We need to capture every moment we can and make it something to remember. But this life is nothing at all, compared to what we have after we leave. And Im excited for all of the blessings we have in the future.

Hey-o everybody :) So guess what I did today in Earth Science for extra credit! *drum roll*....... I did the Hoedown Throwdown in front of my whole class :) hehehe just for 2 extra points on a worksheet. Yeppers, it was fun..... I think Krista got it on video.... lol. Thats embarrassing.

Anywho, today is one of my "No Makeup" days! Its nice being able to rub my eyes and not worry about smearing anything. And pretty much no one noticed the difference anyways! But those who did noticed my lack of eyeliner, said that I looked younger. Is that a good thing or not? I don't know... oh wells. I think I should have more "No Makeup" days, cause I've enjoyed it. Has anyone actually ever heard of "Dinner at the homesick restraunt" by Anne Taylor??? Anyone? No? Then why the heck would I have to read this book in my American Literature class, Mrs. Dewey?! :P
The book is sad too! Already the main character's husband leaves her with 3 kids and no money! JERK! No one likes you! >:P

Sigh... anyways. How is everybody doing? Good, I hope.
Yesterday I went shopping with my momma to get something for my uncle's wedding this weekend. Annnnnnnnnnnd I am very excited :) It's going to be great.
You know what else is great?? The fact that today is a half day!!!!! AND that in 5 days, it is SPRING BREAK! This pleases me. ;) I am very excited.
Ahhhh, well, I best be going. I have to go read that book no one has heard of before. Wish me luck. I'll be needing it :/

Tonight was great...

Yay!!!!! YAY YAY YAY YAY YAY! Life is GRrrrrrrrreat! Just like the Frosted Flakes commercials. My goal was accomplished tonight. (yeeeeeeeeeeees) :)

It started with Maddy and I watching the newest Psych episode, followed with Tweety, then everyone for High School Musical at my high school :) Very fun. Everyone in it, you did great! Anyways, then there was a little bump in the road after that, but everything will be ok. I know it. Following that was Alice in Wonderland! :D Ahh, very... hmm... interesting. All the costumes, acting, music, and effects were amazing! But the story is verrryy... interesting. lol But I had a GREAT time :) Thanks everyone for making this a great night.

Tonight I went with my mom and the other young women in my ward to hear a speaker talk about self confidence, true beauty, and why Hollywood and media are wrong for making us feel like we aren't going to be as beautiful as celebrities or models on a magazine. Everyone walked away with so much more confidence than before and I am very grateful for that talk. Here are some of the notes I took during the presentation:

-Through different trends and styles, God's definition of beauty will never change.

-Remember your divine worth and the reason you came to Earth.

-We are all Princesses and Daughters of God.

-After you do everything you can to have a pleasing appearance, walk out the doors and forget yourself.

-Put down your mirror and look through a window.

-The key to being confident is being able to listen to your inner self. In the kingdom of God, the real you is more precious than rubies.

-Affirm your body is perfect the way it is.

-You are a daughter of God with a purpose here on Earth.

So have confidence in yourself. Love yourself! Because it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks. Heavenly Father loves you.

Today is a good day :) I'm in a happy mood.
Today started with Taylor Swift blasting from my room, I curled my hair, and ta da! I put on bright red lipstick! LOVE! lol Yes, it's very fun. I like it. :)
I'm also very sore from Physical Therapy. Yesterday they stepped it up a level (since my surgeon gave the ok) and gave me lots of new stuff to do.
Hmm... this weekend, my school is doing High School Musical... and I am very excited! Ahh :) This is going to be fun.

Anywho- It's March! So, I decided to change up my blog :) Whoop whoop!

Happy spring time! I'm so excited. I love it.

But last night, we were discussing all of our daydreams and fantasies. Ahhhhh *sigh* ;)

Yes, I know you think I'm ridiculous, But guess what?????? I DON'T CARE. Ha.

Well, I best be getting to work. Gotta finish that History Packet for third hour.

Who else was soooo incredibly excited when Michael Buble surprised everyone by singing at the Olympic closing ceremonies? I WAS SO HAPPY! :) That made my night. Michael Buble has been one of my favorite singers. EVER! His voice is just so... ahhh :D *swoon*. Will you marry me, Michael Buble? Pretty please? ;)

Well, it's sad to see the Olympics ending. To all of the athletes, I just have to say that you are incredible. I've been so inspired by all your hard work. USA... I love you. Lindsey Vonn, Shaun White, Apolo Ohno, and all the other USA Olympians, You are all awesome. Congratulations!!! :) Ya'll deserve every bit of it.

Sooooo yesterday I was searching through a couple of websites, and we found these adorable vintage dresses! They are all so cute!

I want them all! The only problem is.... that there is only 1 of each dress, you have to be the exact size (because it's all dresses fit one), and they are pretty pricy. And if I did buy one, where would I wear it? I think we should have a ball, or formal party, or something like that so that I at least have an excuse to buy a pretty dress :)

Also. These dresses are from the 1950's or so.... and seeing these really made me want to be in a different decade. Like the 1920's or something like that but minus all the economy troubles from back then. Wait, today's government isn't any better. Oh well.

I can imagine it now... a picnic in the green grass, on a warm summer day, with a cute guy... Then to make it even better.... You throw on cowgirl boots and one of those adorable vintage dresses! ahhhh Perfection. :)

Too bad it's raining outside, the cute guys aren't here, and I my closet is empty. Sad day :(

Today is a good day. I woke up, turned on my favorite music, got ready for school, and now here I am! :) Anyways.

For those of you who are sick (cough* hmm... Tessa. Maddy.), Please get better soon!!! I miss you all too much.

Yesterday was a good day too. I rode my little bicycle to my favorite spot, listened to music, and starred at the sky. Therapy soon followed, a nice dinner, and the day ended with the Olympics. Shout out to my buddy, Shaun White! haha

I don't know what to say. I have having so many crazy, new, mixed feelings. New ideas in my head. New worries. At night is when I do my best thinking. Right now it is 11:52 P.M.

Today, Tessa and I went for a bike ride to a cute little park and took some random shoots, that actually turned out quite well. I went for more of a Vintage/Antique look during the editing.
